H/P ROYAL NIPPON VASE. 12.5 inch H, 7 inch W body, 2.5 inch rim, 4.25 inch base. Outstanding Royal Nippon vase of Art Nouveau period. Rare example. Yes I am speaking of the Art Nouveau period 1890 to 1920. The mark is a globe mark and has the name Nishiki in the center of the globe. It is hand painted as marked and so beautiful. An excellent example of the Art Nouveau style. I have never had another one labeled as such. The leaves and berries are also slightly raised on the surface of the piece.
