Cappellin
7038 a Keslinger Antiques CAPPELLIN STEMS - Cappellin made these delicate French Blue glasses with hollow stem. $100.each Cappellin and Venini were in business together in the 1920's and produced purist vessels designed by Zecchin, which were inspired by those depicted in 18thC. Venetian paintings. They were made of transparent colorless or pastel colored glass and were without external decoration. These glasses are typical of Cappellin's production.

VENETIAN RED GLASS VASE
Fabulous three layered Venetian globular vase in cintra technique. Red layer with blue striping and deeper red powder inclusions over white opaque layer all encased between two layers of clear glass. Difficult to get stability with this many layers of glass. Vase is round although one picture appears uneven with background color removed. 9.5 inches high; diameter 13 inches. Truly wonderful

Elegant Italian red millefiori demi cup/saucer with art deco stylized applied handle. Rim chip on saucer, but due to decoration not easily seen. Broken pontil scar on both pieces as expected. Unusual to have the millefiori centers clear. This appears to be reverse process with glass red and then clear rod surrounded by white canes.
